DL380 G9 HPE Smart Array P840 Controller Migrate RAID0 to RAID1 ?

I need assistance with a DL380 G9 server equipped with an HPE Smart Array P840 Controller. The Smart Storage Administrator (SSA) version is 4.21.7.0. The operating system was installed on a single hard disk in bay 1, and according to SSA, it's configured as RAID 0. Recently, I added a new hard disk to bay 2, which has the same size as the first one. My objective is to use this new hard disk as a mirror of the original. How can I migrate this setup to RAID 1? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your assistance; the HP Smart Storage Administrator (HPSSA) functionality is still working normally. However, I would like to know the steps to convert RAID 0 to RAID 1 without losing data. Could you please provide guidance on this?"

Hello,

Please refer to the below article:
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c01914706&docLocale=en_US

Make sure the backup power (BBWC/FBWC) is connected to the controller.

If the migration option is not there then you will have to follow the below steps.

You will have to take the backup of RAID 0 , clear existing configuration and create a new RAID 1 with the 2 disks and restore the data from the backup

Thanks,

TAM
