DL380 Gen10 missing Embedded SATA Controllers

We have a number of DL380 Gen 10s all with the same configuration. NO Raid controller and they have a single 8 bay drive tray connected to the onboard SCSI controllers. We are now repurposing these servers for some non production activities and we found that one of them refuses to show more than 1 embedded Sata controler. We have filled the 8 pays with 8 HPE 1.9GB sata SSD. ONly 4 of them are presented to the OS. Lights dont come on for the other 4. Ilo inventory only shows 1 Sta Embedded controller however on the exact same configured other Server it shows 2. I have looked all throught the bios settings and cant find anywhere where this may be disabled.

Hi,

You can try the following:
Check the cable routing, try with different cable if available.
Reset BIOS settings
Clear NVRAM using S6 switch.
