DL380 GEN10 NVME questions
Hi there fellow GEN10 users,
Have some questions regarding 8NVME enablement kit.
As far as i know, NVME drives can't be added to physical RAID & it requires the use of software RAID (HPE Smart Array S100i Software RAID)
The server has three 8 drive bays & if i add 826689-B21 (NVMe Express Bay Enablement Kit) will it be enough to use U2 NVME SSDs?
And will the included hardware RAID controller run simultaenously with the software one?
It's pitty to lose the other two 8 drive bays, just to get one bay with NVME Operational.
Any input would be appreciated

Re: DL380 GEN10 NVME questions
Hi @thanat0s,
Good day!
Thank you for the Post.
Would request you to refer the Quickspecs for more information :
https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00008180enw.pdf : Page 46 - gives more details on this concern.
Also for more details we would contact your local sales representative for additional information or Log a Case with HPE - for which if you share few details I can arrange for call back.
Thank you
RamKS
