DL380 Gen10 Plus; Server Critical Fault, Runtime Fault, Processor(Intel) x2
Hi there all,
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this... Very recent procurement and deployment of eight high-spec' DL380 Gen10 Plus Servers and so far two of them have already failed critically.
Both server show errors in the IML similar to the below:
Server Critical Fault (Service Information: Runtime Fault, Processor(Intel), Processor 1 (04h))
Server Critical Fault (Service Information: Power On Fault, Processor(Intel), Processor 2 (04h))
Server Critical Fault (Service Information: Runtime Fault, Processor(Intel), Processor 2 (04h))
After quite a considerable wait for parts due to tech constraints at the moment we have had a CPU replaced today by hpe under warranty in one server, however it has not fixed the problem and a systemboard is now ordered.
Seems very odd to have two virtually brand new servers fail so soon. DLs are usually pretty bulletproof. They do have very close serial numbers being of the same order. Clearly concerned that whatever the issue it may impact the others; I cannot find anything else obviously similar on the Forum or in Support KBs, etc.
Many thanks!
Chris
