DL380 Gen10 SPP and Firmware update failure DataTables Warning

When trying to apply the latest SPP on a DL380 Gen 10 via USB, we're getting an error after initiating the update, regardless of Auto/Manual selection: 

"DataTables warning(table id = 'hpsum-comps-iLOtaskQ-table'): Requested unknown parameter 'version' from the data source for row 0" 

It then goes to another screen and gives the message

Warning: Previous updates not deployed on the iLO
The iLO Smart Update Repository contains queued updates.
To cancel the queued updates and deploy a new set of updates, select a Baseline or Install Set.
To deploy the queued updates, select iLO Installation Queue and start a direct deploy.

Any selected option that would update the firmware results in looping back through these two screens. 

Resetting the iLO had no affect either.

Does anyone have a potential fix so we can update the firmware on 2 affected units?

Hello,

 

Please try the below and confirm the status.

 

1. Please restore the settings to system defaults.

2. Please try a different version of SPP

 

3. Please try mounting the ISO to the iLO virtual media and boot using F11 from ISO.

You may try clearing the Installation Queue & Install Sets from Firmware & OS Software Section of the iLO Page.

Did you ever get this resolved? I have an ML110 with the same error, 1 of 2 I've updated so far with 6 more to go remotely.

I've been on vacation so haven't gotten around to trying any of the suggested options.  Will definitely give them a go next week.  Servers still operate OK, but the firmware isn't in compliance with governance.

I had to update the iLo firmware 6 times per Support, which then the SSP worked flawlessly.

We did 1.4 and 1.60 online, and then had them send me this email so I could finish while tackling other fires. If you click the "Revisions" tab you can find the download link for the other two versions:

After updating the iLO to latest the version, update the Service pack for ProLiant.

Finally got this to take.

1) cleared out the iLO pending updates and storage - tried applying the SPP but it still failed
2) applied the iLO firmware 1.4 via ilorest
3) applied the full SPP via USB

Success!
