DL380G7 on IP Console Switch 3x1x16 / TFT5600 not working

Hi,

IP Console Switch 3x1x16 might not be compatible with DL380 G7 server.

Refer to this quickspecs:

According to this quickspecs these are compatible:
1x1Ex8 KVM IP Console Switch G2 with Virtual Media and CAC
2x1Ex16 KVM IP Console Switch G2 with Virtual Media and CAC
4x1Ex32 KVM IP Console Switch G2 with Virtual Media and CAC

Hallo,

indeed G7-Servers are incompatible with HP IP Console Switch 1/3x1x16. Can imagine these switches are still in use also on other sites.
Is there a statement by HP or a workaround for switch or server ?

did you try with factory default settings on TFT5600 while accessing G7 server?

UPdate the switch firmware as per this advisory might help.

It turned out, that TFT5600 might be defective. Replacing the TFT solved the problem. IP Console Switches 1/3x1x16 are still working with G7-Servers .
