Is there a signfinat difference between the wide Ultra 3 drives and Ultra320 drives?
Can they be mixed in the server?

Solution
Hi Jim,
The wide Ultra 3 units can support a maximum throughput of up to 160 MB/s using Fast-80 signaling with double transition clocking.
The Ultra 320 drives support a maximum throughput of 320 MB/s using 80 MHz bus signaling and double transition clocking.
The Ultra 320 drives can be used with Wide ultra 3 drives but the speed would be that of the ultra 3 drives.
Ultra 320 is backward compatible with Ultra 3.

Hope this explains!!!!
