Re: Do not display raid disk when install centos 7.2 on HPE P408i-a sr raid contraller
Hi,
You may check the drivers for P408i-a controller here.
I presume CentOS 7.2 is equal to Red Hat 7.2, if yes its not supported.
Also check the Community Enterprise Linux.
Thank You!

Re: Do not display raid disk when install centos 7.2 on HPE P408i-a sr raid contraller
thanks to reply.
i used same specification server on my site.
i was installed centos 7.2 another server without issue.
the one server has problem about firmware error . so I updated to SPP ver. 202309 .
i was fixed problem form firmware. but i don`t install new os(censos 7.2).
another server's raid controller firmware version is 5.00 and new firmware version is 6.22.
at last version(raid controller fw 5.00) is do not has any problem when install centos 7.2
I guess that this course is raid controller firmware issue.

Solutioni solved this issue.
The reason is P408i-a firmware version.
I was downgraded raid controller firmware version change due 6.22 to 3.00.
Centos 7.2 is succesefully detected raid array volume.

Re: Do not display raid disk when install centos 7.2 on HPE P408i-a sr raid contraller
Hi, Graoully,
I used the SPP image tool to downgrade the RAID firmware. You can get the SPP image from at link.
You can download the RAID driver with a version lower than 22.0.3.1.
