Hi just setting up a ML350 Gen10, Started normally several times. Checked iLo firmware and software. Out dated - nothing has been updated.

Had a RSOD appear on one reboot whcih states "ia32 exception type 06 - invalid opcode exception"
Tried to update firmware (to v1.40 first) however receive error message "The file signature is invalid. Make sure you are suing a valid, signed flash file and try again. (EDIT - Hmmmm unzip and instal worked! Updates completed)

Re: Early System Initialisation
Hello,
You may restore all configuration settings to their manufacturing defaults.
You may refer to item 22 of the server's system board component diagram.
You may refer to "System maintenance switch descriptions" for performing this procedure.
Please refer to note 2 on this page.
For performing this procedure, power off the server, remove the power cable from the power supplies, remove the access panel and then set the system maintenance switch position 6 is set to the On position and then replace the access panel, connect the power cable and then power on the server.
Once a message indicates that a system maintenance switch is in on position and needs to be reversed, then power off the server, remove the power cable from the power supplies and then reverse the system maintenance switch's position.

Re: Early System Initialisation
- This seems like a hardware issue. We need to review the operating system and AHS logs to provide a solution.
- Kindly raise a support ticket with HPE for further analysis.
