Emulex HBA KGPSA-CB (PL8000)

I am trying to configure 2 Emulex fiber cards on a DL580 under Windows 2000 AS. I downloaded the SCSI miniport driver from the Compaq website (5-4.52a8) and installed, but Windows Device Manager reported the device was not working properly. I then downloaded the Emulex SCSI miniport driver (5-4.41a8) and installed (after uninstalling the cards), and they seem to work - at least, Windows Device Mgr reports they do. I then ran the Emulex Configuration Tool - the cards show in the Available Adapters window, but the WWNs are not showing in the SCSI Targets (lower) window.

Does anyone have any further insight or info on the configuration of these cards?

did you only try the miniportdriver ?.i always use the scsiport and not the miniport.
