Enable enhanced mode on DL320 SATA controller

I am setting up Windows 2003 Server on a DL320 G4 that we have just purchased. When I try to install without the RAID option enabled I am unable to install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager as the drives are running in legacy mode. I cannot see the option to enable the enhanced mode, I can only turn on RAID mode and then I need to create an array which I don't want to do (I need to use Windows to mirror the system partition and stripe the other partitions) How do I enable enhanced mode for the drives without putting them into a RAID configuration?

I don't believe you can. You should be able to create separate raid 0 arrays (one for each drive). Do you have that option? That will accomplish what you need.
