Enable HBA mode for P440 SAS3 Controller Without cache module installed

I want to install the controller on an proliang 360p gen8

and there it's no option to install cache module becouse there its no motherboard connector

anyone can tell me if there its some tweak on the controller that can  send the software that its present...

it let me to enable the hba mode but sais than cant be used without the cache module

so... why it can be used in hba mode without cache when the cache its not needed for HBA....

Hi,

HPE Smart Array P440 Controller, does not support Gen8 servers as per the QS.
