error Code 59
Hi,
I have a brand new ML 350 G2 I'm just starting the smartstart process with. The server has the Array Controller 532 with 2 CPU's at 1.266 Gz each. When I start the smartstart version 5.30, I choose manual install, I then configure the raid controller for RAID 1 +0 with a hot spare (I also tried with RAID 5) The server reboots, it continues the smartstart process and gives me an error code 59 "No logical or physical drives are on the primary disk controller".
I upgraded the ROM Paq to the latest version along with firmware for the array contoller. It still gives me the same error code 59.
Is there anything I'm missing, or anything I should do?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Max

Re: error Code 59
Try this.
Run erase, verify boot controller and OS selection set correctly in F9 RBSU, then Smartstart setup will allow configuration of the hard drives during the ACU portion of the install.

We are here for a good time, not a long time!

Re: error Code 59
I confirm : run erase, F9 to set your Boot controller Order ( default setting for your smart card will be position 4 ) , Esc and F10 to save , then Run Smart Start setup again .
( For info, F8 is to access ORCA - on line Raid configuration )
