Event Notifier Service on DL380G2
I have a DL380G2 that I would like to begin using the Event Notifier service on. I installed the version 6.0.0.0 software and went through the configuration but could not find any way to send a test message to see if it is set up correctly. Can anyone provide a simple way to test the server to make sure I did not make any mistakes in the setup?
Thanks
Thanks
Why does this always happen to me?

Re: Event Notifier Service on DL380G2
One way is if you have a UPS system attached and the software that monitors it, you can pull the power from the ups and this will send a alert to the event log that should notify you.

Re: Event Notifier Service on DL380G2
Daniel,
Thanks for the suggestion. While I do not have a UPS since my room is already power protected, your suggestions did point out a way for me to accomplish the same task.
I will simply pull the plug on one of my redundant power supplies and if I did not make any typo'sI should get a message.
Thanks
