forgot the password on linuxEL operation system

I forgot the password of administrator account on linux EL system. don't know should revise which file on OS. help me.

from lilo come to boot prompt,

boot:

and type,

linux single

u will be getting # prompt.

after that, proceed with passwd and change password for root..

hope these meets ur requirement

it's not administrator accout for OS, is for insight manager. thanks!
