GbE2 Flow Control

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help explain the following behaviour (bear in mind I'm not a network person). We have 2 GbE2 interconnects, each connected to a Cisco 4506. When left on auto-neg the port connects at 1000, FD, TX=yes, RX=no. The port on the cisco is set to both yes for flow control. We are unsure if having the RX set to no is causing a problem. The GbE2 won't let us set it to yes and the only way we can get the port on the GbE2 and the Cisco to match is to set TX & RX to no. Is this normal?
