Getting "Logical Drive error IO fatal error" in RIS Event Log

Hi

After we changed 1 faulty harddrive in a raid (Smart Array P400 in ProLiant ML370 G5 ) we started getting "Logical Drive error IO fatal error" in RIS Event Log. I cannot find any more details, all physical drives are fine, no system status errors. at the same time I see disk warning event 153 in Windows System log.

Any ideas what might be the problem and how to sort it?

Thanks

This may be an issue at the logical volume level.

This has to be investigated through the ADU report. It would be premature to say that the logical volume may have encountered corruption

In the meantime you may also refer to the MSDN article
