HD 500GB 6G SAS part number 508009-001 or 507610-B21?
I have a Proliant ML350 Product number 594869-001 with 6 hard disks of 500GB each one, working in two arrays RAID 5 with 3 disk each array.
the first disk of the array A stop working (where the operating system run), so we decide to remove disk 6 and put it in position 1.
The server restore the array A and the array B inform that one disk is missing.
Two days later the 3 disk of the array A red led start to flash indicating that the disk probably fail.
I am looking for 3 new disks, the part number that is installed now in the server is 508009-001, looking for a new drive some suppliers offer me 507610-B21.
Is the same?
Which are the diferences?
Regards,
Mariano Spini

It is the same disk, 508009-001 is the spare part, 507610-B21 is the new product.
