Hi,

Have you installed any other NIC other than the integrated adapter?
This should be the driver for integrated card
Here are all the drivers for this server model.

In case the above driver does not resolve, you may also try this.

Thank You!

Re: Hp 120 G9 ethernet controller drivers for Server 2016

Hi Suman,

Thanks for suggestions.

Its just on board NIC which says MGMT on one & Service on other port.

Unfortunately integrated driver u suggested dint work.

Have tried almost every driver available in list for server 2016, none helped.

X64 says OS not supported.
Any work around or if any option to find which is NIC installed would be helpful.

Thanks.

Re: Hp 120 G9 ethernet controller drivers for Server 2016

Hello,

This server should have a dual port 361i NIC embedded into it. This is based on the Intel I350 chip. When I checked a few systems of this type I have access to they show the following the the PCI and vendore ID:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1521&SUBSYS_337F103C&REV_01
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1521&SUBSYS_337F103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1521&CC_020000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1521&CC_0200

However, in your server it shows as a 151F, which is not a valid device ID. This would explain why the driver does not install as it does not recognize it as a device it supports. There are a number of websites that have vendor and device ID information. If you go to one of these sites you'll see that 8086 and 1521 is the I350 NIC.

I ran across something on the Intel site regarding this, but no any real indication of how to fix it:

https://community.intel.com/t5/Ethernet-Products/I350-Device-ID-1521-is-sometimes-151F-lanconfw64e-c86a2017-quot/m-p/375420

It might be worthwhile to go into the BIOS and select to reset to manufacturing defaults. This may cause the device to show up correctly within device manager.

Regards

Re: Hp 120 G9 ethernet controller drivers for Server 2016

Hello,

Also one thing have observed is even though windows could not load drivers, atleast during initial boot up ILO should get a IP address from DHCP which is working in network. But it says no IP.

Will try a factory reset of BIOS & check.
