HP DL360 G5 and Windows XP

Hello, does anyone know how to get Windows XP onto a DL360 G5? It has the P400i controller.

Kind Regards,

Download the Driver for WINDOWS Server 2003
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/download/24424.html

Unpack the driver to a floppy/USB Stick

Boot the Server from the WINXP CD and Press F6 an choose the driver for the Controller.
Then you can install the OS on the Server.

I hope that works.
Otherwise you can boot the Server from the Smart Start CD and install it by this way

I tried that but its appears to not like the HpCISSs2.sys file for some reason. (F6, specify additional storage etc).

I had the same problem with trying to install XP using this driver. I tried the updated driver as well. It found the driver but as once it got going, it said that same file was missing but it's on the floppy.

I also couldn't get XP Pro to pick up the driver from my USB Key, I had to find a USB floppy disk because it would only look on drive A:

Any other work arounds?

Please check this thread;
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/questionanswer.do?threadId=1085986

Summary;
WindowsXP 32 bit does not support the 'storport' type driver.
WindowsXP x64 does so please use WindowsXP x64.

Lists an alternative driver but does not support the embedded cards like your p400i.
