HP DL360e Gen 8 b320i raid controller with any linux distro not detecting RAID with SSD

Does anyone have any experience with HP DL360e Gen 8 and the HP b320i raid controller.  This controller needs a driver to work with linux.  I believe its an hpvsa driver?

My questions in detail is posted on server fault also
https://serverfault.com/questions/1120363/hp-dl360e-gen-8-b320i-raid-controller-with-any-linux-distro-not-detecting-raid-w

It looks like centos7 and SUSE 12 hp has drivers for this, but I doubt you can upgrade from there.   I would like to find an updated driver, obviously, and I have tried these drivers on boot for several distros with no luck... just keeps asking for media like it does not find anything

Here is the link for one of the drivers I had tried on HP support site

any help, thanks

Hello,

You may use the "HPE Dynamic Smart Array B120i/B320i SATA RAID Controller Driver for SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 12 (64-bit)" and see if the issue is resolved.

@TVVJ
I've tried them all.

I download the hpvsa-1.2.16-127.sles12sp4.x86_64.dd, it was a compressed, I used gunzip to convert to a .dd file, I then used dd to write to a USB stick, then boot SUSE, F6 for driver, it eventually asks me for the media, I choose the flash drive, it attempts to read it, and again asked for the media, as if it does not detect what is on the flash drive.  I have tried several of the files from the HP support.  nothing works.  What I find strange is that its like it does not find what it is looking for and keeps asking me for media.  You can click on the link I shared a post on server fault for more details.

I guess HP just stopped making the driver for further newer kernels?  I've tried several distros, they are all the same... this wouldn't be a problem with Dell machines.

The link shared shows the supported kernels under the release notes:-

https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/softwaredetails?language=en_US&softwareId=MTX_df3c47f5f33e498c8efbfebc82&tab=releaseNotes

Meaning that these are the last supported kernel versions. Not sure if and when new drivers would be released for this controller. Please do refer to the Certification Matrices to refer to the supported versions of Operating system:-
