HP PROLIANT DL 380 G7 RAID 5 PRE FAILURE DISK
HI,
How to replace a pre-failure disk on my hp proliant DL 380 G7 with RAID 5 configure and no disk of spare on it.

With RAID5 on a G7 I assume that you have hot swappable drives with the cache module installed on the RAID card? Run the Array Configuration Utility (ACU) to diagnose the array and determine which bay the drive is in. HP Insight Diagnostics and iLO both have the ability to turn the UID LED on to identify the drive if you are not sure which bay it is in. Exit the utilities and swap the out the bad drive. Then run ACU again to diagnose the array and the rebuild process should start. (This can take quite some time depending upon the size of the drives.)
Remember that any time you are working with the hard drives, you should always have a good backup of all data on hand.

Yes, if you add another drive to the system you should be able to configure it as a spare.
