HP ProLiant DL180 G6 WinServer 2003 - Unknown PCI Device

Hi. I've installed Win2003 32-bit R2 on our new DL180 g6 server.After installing drives&configuration files which
includes on Easy Set-up CD i have 1 unknown PCI-device left in the device manager.

Installing Support Pack v7.10 finished with errors and problem with PCI-device is not eliminates.
Than was installed Null IPMI driver.
Still got the missing PCI device driver.

Looking under the Device Manager "other devices" I can see there are PCI drivers missing for an unknown device at
location "PCI bus 0, device 31, function 2".

Can anyone help me to find drivers or needed Support Pack?
Thanks

Re: HP ProLiant DL180 G6 WinServer 2003 - Unknown PCI Device

Thanks for your links but there are no any changes.

This device has value "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3A22&SUBSYS" in submenu Device manager->PCI Device Properties->Value.

There is device ID from Intel(R) ICH10 Family 6 Port SATA AHCI Controller - 3A22.

Have you any ideas?

Re: HP ProLiant DL180 G6 WinServer 2003 - Unknown PCI Device

no any changes...

Null IPMI Controller driver is successfully installed.
When I try to install Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family 2nd generation driver, it finished "unknown
error".

Should I find any driver for a Intel(R) ICH10 Family 6 Port SATA AHCI Controller or this may be another device?

Re: HP ProLiant DL180 G6 WinServer 2003 - Unknown PCI Device

hi,

That's very strange. You can try with BIOS update, if the latest one is not installed already.

Just for confirmation - Do You have a DL180 G6 or some other server based on it? Is it LO100 or iLo 2?

Thanks

Re: HP ProLiant DL180 G6 WinServer 2003 - Unknown PCI Device

I'm sure on 150% that I've exactly DL180g6.
Thanks for the humor)

I agree that situation was very strange, but BIOS update didn't help.

I found a "Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology is designed to provide" that provide functionality for many
controllers one of which was "Intel(R) ICH10R SATA AHCI Controller". Installing this pack decided my problem.

Thanks for your partaking.
