HP Proliant DL380e G8 fan Power with 70 degrees PCI-1
Hello
I have bought a DL380e last year for Private use. Server is in the basement and runs as a virtualization server.
last month i have bought a P421 Raid Controller with 2GB Cache und yesterday i have installed a MSA70 Disk Shelf with 10 1TB SATA disks,
Confuses me that the server runs with only 19% (slot 4-6) and 11% (slot 1-3) fan power though PCI 1 has 68 degrees and HD Controller 70-73 degrees.
Is that normal?
or should I use the controller in PCI slot 2 operated instead of Slot 1?
I think I ask here first before I contact support
greetings
Jan
