HP Proliant ML350 Gen10 disk problem after replacement
Hello,
I have a Proliant ML350 G10 with an HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10 controller. 3 drives in RAID5. One disk failed. I replaced it. In ILO, the volume status is now Enabled, but the replaced disk is now Enabled
(NonAuthenticDrive) Drive is HPE, same model, different firmware version. Installing Proliant SPP Gen10 might solve the problem.

Re: HP Proliant ML350 Gen10 disk problem after replacement
Hello,
You may refer to advisory titled "HPE Multiple Server Platforms - Replacement Smart Carrier Backplanes May Come with Covers Over the Smart Carrier Pins, Resulting in Drives Not Being Detected or Reported as "NON-Authentic" Once Installed" and see if it helps.
