Hi,
I have an HP Proliant ML350 gen9 and I would like to install a Western Digital SN340 with a nvme to pci express x4 adapter, but I'm not sure it if will boot from the drive or if it will detect it. Does anyone know if this will work?
Thank you!!

Re: HP Proliant ML350 gen9 will it boot with NVME adapter card pci express x4?
Hello,
HPE designs and tests option parts for its Compute, Storage and HPC & AI products. Third party products are not tested and hence it cannot be said with certainity that it would work with HPE Smart Array controller like an HPE option hard drive would work. You may try one before you go for it.
Regards,
