HP smart array raid doesn't boot, after reboot all is ok
Hi!
I have a ML350 G6 server with a problem. The raid doesn't boot properly when started via hardware button. A reboot seems to cure the problem. Did already change the mainboard and raid battery. What else can be the cause?
The raid blinks blue - green - red - green one time while booting in the error cause. Did upgrade to HP Service Pack 2014.09, nothing changed :(
How could I solve this?

Re: HP smart array raid doesn't boot, after reboot all is ok
Hello,
When i check the ADU report, i seen any hardware issue. But the P410i firmware is not updated 6.00 version. Please update without SPP. Choose your OS and update the Smart Array controller last version (6.60):

Re: HP smart array raid doesn't boot, after reboot all is ok
Hi!
One of the raid disks failed at the weekend. I did remove the hdd and waited till the raid was rebuilded. Server started without any problems this morning.
How could I read healt data about the raid disks?
OS is Cent OS (Citrix Xenserver)
Thx, Sandra

Re: HP smart array raid doesn't boot, after reboot all is ok
I fear that this ok doesn't say much. All values were ok till the moment the drive really failed. I would like to have something of like a forecast.
