HPE MR408i-o Gen11 - JBOD drives are not recognized as SAS in Windows Server 2022 Datacen
Hello all,
I have HPE MR408i-o Gen11 (driver version 7.716.02.00 , firmware version : 52.26.3-5487). I have 6 SSD drives are configured in JBOD pool. and 1 array RAID1 for OS system ( Server 2022). Windows Server 2022 did not see/recognize these JBOD disks. It marks them as RAID (Bus Type). How can I fix this error in MR controller or Windows OS ? ( I need it shown as SAS for setup S2D in Windows Server 2022). Thanks!

Re: HPE MR408i-o Gen11 - JBOD drives are not recognized as SAS in Windows Server 2022 Data
Greetings!
Please ensure the controller driver and firmware are running on the latest revision.
It is also recommended that the OS drives are connected to one controller and the S2D data drives are connected to another. This is recommended when using S2D on any Windows Server OS including 2016, 2019 ,2022 and Azure Stack HCI.

Re: HPE MR408i-o Gen11 - JBOD drives are not recognized as SAS in Windows Server 2022 Data
I have updated the firmware to the latest, but am unable to find an installer for the server 2025 for the latest driver and the installer for 2022 will not run on 2025.
Firmware
HPE MR408i-o Gen11 52.28.3-5681 OCP 3.0 Slot 14
Driver
megasas35i.sys 7.717.2.0 megasas raid controller driver for windows
@rabindra11sharm - thanks for your post and attempt to help, but create a RAID is the exact oposite of what i am attempting to do. I need the disks to be individually available to Windows to be able to create a storage spaces direct cluster
The screenshot below shows the drives as detected by Windows (RAID bustype) and the controller config. I am assuming the issue is the controller being in RAID personality mode. I think i need to switch it to another mode.
