HPE Proliant `DL20 Gen10 Plus - SAS drive

Hi there,

I have just unpacked a HPE Proliant `DL20 Gen10 Plus (P44115-421) with 4 SFF bays 6 cores. Installed a SAS drive P40432-B21.

I am under the impression that the server doesnt recognise the drive. Is there any particular setting I do need to twik to get the driver recognised?

If you are using the embedded Intel VROC SATA SW RAID then it doesn't support SAS drives.

For SAS drives, Performance or Essential RAID controller would be required. Page#8
