HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen8 Server
Hi,
My server is HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen8 Server. Due to the server running high temperature problem and shut down. After the room temperature returned to 18°C. I turned on the server again and reported the error in log and Front panel LEDs:
POST error: Fan solution not fully redundant
POST error: 1611-Fan 5 warning
All fans are still working normally but the speed is higher than normal. I tried changing the position of the fans or replacing them, the error is still the same.
I have searched a lot about this problem. There is a guide to reset NVRAM to solve this problem.
Is this the final solution? Does resetting NVRAM affect Bios? My server is running Raid controller: Raid 1.
Please give me details about this error and how to fix it. The effect of resetting NVRAM on Raid 1 controller is being used.
Thanks.

Re: HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen8 Server
Hello @dnvthv ,
Please refer to Pg 78 which talks about the System Maintenance Switch S6 which is to clear the NVRAM.
