HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus RAID problem - Ubuntu Installation

Hi All,

I am facing the problem when i just received the server "HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus". I have tried to enable the RAID mode and created the RAID array. After that i try to install the Ubuntu Server 22.04.1 LTS, but it seem i unable to find the array. The page show two hard drive only during the installation. May i know some suggestion to install the ubuntu  22 to HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus server with RAID 1 configuration. Thank you.

Parker

The embedded Smart Array S100i is a "software" RAID controller and only supports Windows. See the quickspecs for additional details, ie:

https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00073554enw

Software RAID

• HPE Smart Array S100i SR Gen10 Software RAID

Notes:

− HPE Smart Array S100i SR Gen10 SW RAID will operate in UEFI mode only. For legacy support an additional controller will be needed

The S100i only supports Windows. For Linux users, HPE offers a solution that uses in-distro open-source software to create a two-disk RAID 1 boot volume. For more information visit: https://downloads.linux.hpe.com/SDR/project/lsrrb/
