HPE Smart Array E208i-p SR Gen10 in micoserver G10 lost power and "destroyed" Raid 10
Hi,
I am running a small ESXi 7 environment with a local Raid 10 based on an HPE Smart Array E208i-p SR Gen10. The Raid consists of 4 HP SSDs (each 500 GB). The server was effected by a short power outage (not covered by the UPS). After the reboot the Raid 10 Volume is no longer accessible and the information shown in the BIOS doesn't make sense for me:
I haven't changed any hard drives so having them sitting in the wrong bay can't be the issue. Also two of the disks are showing a capacity of only 1 GB (which is wrong either).
I had the similar issue a month ago when I did the initial setup of the server. I thought I did something wrong and simply reinstalled everything (which worked fine). As I have done quite some config work now (without having a full backup in place...), I would this time appreciate if someone would have a hint on how to restore the Raid without loosing the vm's on it.
Thanks
