Hello;
Our Server DL380 Gen9 with HPE Smart Array P840 Controller v7.00
Does not recognize the MB014000JYCJV SAS HDD....
Any Ideas?

It appears that the drive model is not supported on Gen9 servers. Please refer to the part usage details in this link - https://partsurfer.hpe.com/Search.aspx?SearchText=P11518-001 :

The Conclussion is that the Tray in which the Drive is deliverd is not compatible to gen 9.
i disasembled one and put it i a dump drivetray, the drive was recognized. but ilo says its not trusted. thanks. closed
