Hi,
I can't get SBS 2011 system to setup without disabling the DHCP on the router, which shuts
down all other networks. How do I get around this?
Please help
Regards

Re: I can't get SBS 2011 system to setup without disabling the DHCP on the router
What kind of router you got? Disable port? Does it need network at this stage?
What is the error you are getting?
Does it fail even if you set a static IP on the server?
Aren't there limitations to SBS as to how many other Windows servers it can co-operate with?

SolutionHi Johan,
Once again thank you for your response.
It was a windows SBS 2011 configuration. On the getting started tasks I tried to connect to the internet that is when it asked me to disable the DHCP on the router before continuing. I click postpone and the error message said 'Internet connection is incomplete'
Now I disable DHCP on the router and reconfigured the internet and it is connected.
Regards
