** IDE Controllers **


I am having trouble with the IDE controller(s) and the IDE CD-ROM drive on my Pavillion 8370. The Floppy controller and both IDE controllers have the yellow exclamation point next to them in the device manager. Both IDE controllers say that the device is not present, is not working properly or does not have all the drivers installed. I tried removing them to see if windows would reinstall the proper driver. This had no effect. What can I do to correct these errors.
