ILO: Unable to ping to IP address
I have a server located in DMZ which comes with Integrated ILO. Earlier when I issue hponcfg I got the following error: -
C:\Program Files\HP\hponcfg>hponcfg
HPONCFG RILOE-II/iLO setup and configuration utility
Version 1.5.1.1 (c) Hewlett-Packard Company, 2007
ERROR: Unable to establish communication with iLO/RILOE-II.
This is fixed by upgrading ILO driver to its latest. But still after reset and assign new IP address, we still not able to access to ILO webpage or ping the IP of the ILO within DMZ server or outside.
Any help will be much appreciated.
/Arulthas.

Re: ILO: Unable to ping to IP address
Hello,
What is the iLO Firmware version ?
If you have physical access to the server then, Power-off the server, unplugged power cable.
Open the chassis and set the iLO security override switch (switch number 1 in the system maintenance switch in ON Position)
Try to login ..
Power off the server, then restore the iLO security override switch to position OFF;
If the firmware is updated reflash/reapply ilo firmware again
- Reset the iLO 2 to factory defaults through the F8 iLO 2 POST interface on the host server.
let server reboots again and set the values again.
:) Regards.

Re: ILO: Unable to ping to IP address
Firmware Version: 1.84
I don├в t have physical access to the server, is that anything I can perform remotely using ├в hponcfg├в ?
