iloamp fails to upgrade firmware on Gen9 with SUT error

Hello, 

Working on upgrading the firmware via ILO amp and seeing error as below. 

SPP Update job failed because SUT is not installed/responding. iLO Error Response: iLO Response Message: There is no valid session established with the implementation. Resolution: Establish as session before attempting any operations.

Please advise !

you have to configure SUT on the Server (One Time only), check out my Article:

btw. iLO Amp 2.x is out, but there is no Update from 1.x

Running SUT status on the server is giving this error. 

SUT is not supported on pre-Gen10(Gen9/Gen8) systems.

I have updated the ILO AMp to the latest version 2.12 and seeing the same error now. 

Running SUT status on the sever which is aGen9 running ESXi 7.0u3c is showing this error

Does the host was discovered in ILO amplifier with ILO IP address or hostname?

If the host is discovered in iLO amplifier with hostname then remove the host from iLO amplifer and readd the host with iLO IP address.

Later perform the firmware upgrade and share the observation for further action.
