IloAmplifierPack - Import Baseline failed

Dear all,

i just tried to import last SPP 2022.09.01.00. The import stops after 90 % with error message:

Import Firmware Baseline job failed because iLO Amplifier failed to upload ISO. Contact HPE support. Details for support: Unable to find the error description in catalog file.

Rebooting didn't solve the problem. Did  someone know this problem?

iLO Amplifier Pack v2.14 Baseline SPP Import Fails

I'm also having this same issue. Rebooting (reset) of the iLO Amplifier Pack virtual machine didn't help. Importing the Gen10 Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) 2022-09-01 image stops at 90% and the job eventually fails with the following exception:

Import Firmware Baseline job failed because iLO Amplifier failed to upload ISO. Contact HPE support. Details for support: Unable to find the error description in catalog file.

Importing the Synergy Service Pack (SSP) 2022-08-01 image worked without any issues or workarounds such as restarting needed.

This is not the first time iLO Amplifier Pack had issues when importing a SPP image. Hope we see a solution sooner rather then later.

"Ok, so I spoke to our Engineering/Development team and you will not be able to import the latest SPP 2022.09.01.00 using Amplifier Pack 2.14. Once 2.16 is released (soon), that will be compatible with the latest SPP Version.

They could not give me a date for the 2.16 Release but it should be available in the very near future."

Never underestimate HP to release updates that are incompatible with their own update system.  This is the first I'm learning of later amplifier pack versions too given my stupid 1.95 system suggests it's fully up to date.

Having the same issue on 2.16 version - can't import latest P52581_001_gen10spp-2022.09.01.00-SPP2022090100.2022_0930.1.iso SPP - failed at 10%. 

Any suggestions?

I was not able to get my existing amplifier pack to upgrade no matter what I tried.  I ended up backing its config up, downloading the new latest version, deploying that, restoring, and fortunately everything came back as it was.  Then I was able to import the latest SPP and it took it.  This would probably be a significantly more painful experience if I'd had a ton of custom baselines, images, etc. imported as I'm not sure of a way to back those up.

Ok, that is probably the solution - deploy new 2.16 instance. I successfully updated from 2.14 to 2.16 but it is not accepting SPP even after upgrade. Will be redeploying whole appliance today.

I am unable to import latest SSP even using fresh 2.16 deployment. still the Exception: "Import Firmware Baseline job failed because File upload failed". after 10%

Actually - the problem is not Solved, how to request removal of confusing tag from the topic?

Can you still unmark this topic as solved because it is not? It is confising people and make them spend time checking the solution. And of course disappointent in HP as a company and support in particular.x
