Information about the reading cache of the controllers

Good Morning!

Some time ago I have some doubts about reading the cache memory of the HPE controllers. Currently I have this configuration: P440 4GB, RAID 8X6TB. The operating system is managed by the integrated controller b140.

I have a lot of reading traffic, and I've been reading that allocating read cache to the controller, slows down access to the disks. The biggest reading traffic I have on the server is P2P.

I wanted to know if there is any documentation about it, or someone can help me really understand the reading memory, if the beneficial for when there is a large reading traffic, or change, is irrelevant.

Smart Array Controller Cache technology can provide benefits for both read and write scenarios.

Ratio of read to write Cache needs to be set based on specific workload in a given environment.

See this thread.  It mentions a problem with displaying PDFs in firefox.

The workaround worked on that link.

Thank you very much. I always use Firefox, and I had not realized that I could not open the PDF online. Thank you very much!

It used to work but they changed something to add feedback links?

Firefox if I open PDF documents, but in the configuration I have previously asked me what I want to do with the document. If in the configuration I put the preview in Firefox, if that works. Thank you very much!
