Hi at all!
I've the base model of HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen9 (830701-425), which have 2LFF non-hot plug drives connected to embedded B140i controller with 1-SAS to 2-SATA cable. This controller has a terrible write performance in RAID mode, so I'm planning to upgrade to HPE P440/4GB RAID controller.
I found the P440 as a supported part for my server, but the cable from the controller to the drives are both SAS connectors. As I said, I've non-hot plug drives, so I have no backplane with SAS connector.
Is there any way to connect the P440 without 2LFF hot plug backplane?
Thanks in advance.
