Installation problem with Linux on HP Proliant DL140 G2 1U server
Hi all,
I have tried installing RHEL 4 AS on HP Proliant DL140 G2 server but the installer said "No hard disk found" or something like that. I know that the installer cannot detect the (fake?)RAID controller on this board. I read on RH website that RHEL4 AS is supported to install on this machine. Link to HOWTO also is much appreciated.
ps : the machine has no CDROM drive. I use USB external drive to install Linux on the machine.

the cable was not attached to the drive. Fixed it. Linux should install fine with this machine.
modules needed : mptscsih and mptbase.
