Integrated SCSI adapter and Smart Array 641
server (integrated dual-channel SCSI adapter Ultra3 and Smart Array 641 PCI-X controller in PCI slot.
Problem: I've 3 hard disk drives and one tape drive (for LVD(low-voltage) SCSI bus).
LVD SCSI port is only on Smart Array controller, and its only one SCSI port on it. There'├Е e two SCSI ports on motherboard, i need to connect tape drive, and make RAID system on those 3 HDD. Is one of those two SCSI ports on motherboard - low-voltage? Or can I build RAID system based on integrated SCSI Ultra3 adapte

You might want to consider changing your SA641 to SA642 which has two channels. One internal and one External. The onboard SCSI ports are not LVD.

Yes on SA641 you can configure Raid 5. You can install maximum 6 internal HDDs to SA641 controller.
