Intel processors required for Azure Stack
Hello. I'd like to do a Windows Server 2019 Azure Stack PoC per the following HPE white papers.
1) HPE DL380 Gen9 Hybrid SAS SSD/HDD Azure Stack HCI Solution
https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00067829enw
2) Implementing Windows Server 2019 Azure Stack HCI Using HPE ProLiant Servers
https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00067845enw
My question is, are Intel E5-2600 v4 processors 1.7 GHz or faster absolutely required, or will E5-2600 v3 processors also work?
Thank you for reading this.

Re: Query: Intel processors required for Windows Server 2019 Azure Stack PoC
How many servers/nodes are people putting together for their Azure stack implementations?
Are you guys running full stack dev workloads and stuff on it, or simply Azure styled VMs/Management interfaces for more traditional workloads?

Re: Query: Intel processors required for Windows Server 2019 Azure Stack PoC
Thank you, support_s. While the information contained in the links you supplied below is greatly appreciated, I'm unable to find any mention of E5-2600 v3 processors. That is, unless I missed it.
Does that definitively mean they can't be used, or is it more of a recommendation?
Thanks again for reading this.

Re: Query: Intel processors required for Windows Server 2019 Azure Stack PoC
Thank you, T_1_6. The plan is to have two nodes directly connected to each other, thus eliminating the need for a switch.
As far as workloads go, they'll be traditional, rather than development.
Thanks again for reading this.
