Internal USB Boot ML370 G5? (Vmware ESXi 4.1)
Hi,
I'm having difficulty getting a ML370 G5 to boot from the internal USB port, basically I want to run the ESXi hypervisor from the internal USB and just use the Local SAS disk exclusively for VM's.
I'm unable to find any BIOS option that will let me do this despite the BIOS being set to boot from USB Flash Key as first option.
(I've also tried disabling external USB ports in case this helped although it didn't seem to make any difference..)
Can anyone shed any light here?? I've about exhausted all my troubleshooting options..
Thanks,
Dion

Re: Internal USB Boot ML370 G5? (Vmware ESXi 4.1)
Apologies - seems it was an issue with the flash key I was using (USB 2.0 Transcend 8GB), I changed to a Lexar 1GB USB2.0 and it worked first time.
