Interrupt 15

I have a Compaq Proliant 1600 running NetWare 5.0. This server also has a Adaptec 29160 scsi card installed. The adaptec card is taking interrupt 15. Interrupt 15 is one of 3 interrupts that NetWare reserves.

How can I change the interrupt that the Adaptec card is using?

IRQ 15 should not be a problem running under Netware 5 .

* Reboot the server and press F10 when prompted to enter setup.
* Select System configuration, then Configure hardware
* Find the device you want to change the IRQ of in the device list
* Press F6 to change the resources it uses
Note:
To change the IRQ of a Smart controller you have to change the resources of the device BELOW it in the list (usually has a name of PCI device function 1). The reason for this is that the Smart controller is a bridged device.
