Inventory failed:Inventory failed on remote node:63001, 63002
Hi All,
I just started to use the latest SPP for GEN 10 with HPE SUM 10.80.0. I am trying to do remote update of another server and i get this error message.
Inventory failed:Inventory failed on remote node:63001, 63002
Any idea waht could be causing that error message ?
The message is not happening on all the servers I am trying to do a remote update.
And also I tried to run the SPP localy on the machine having issue and it working no problem.
Server having issue is running Windows 2022. And the machine not having the issue is Windows 2019.

Re: Inventory failed:Inventory failed on remote node:63001, 63002
Hi,
SUM uses port 63002 to communicate between the sum_binary and sum_service applications on both Windows and Linux systems. If ports are listed in both columns, SUM communicates bidirectionally.
Use the parameters /port and /ssl_port to change from ports 63001 and 63002 if there are firewall conflicts. Use /open_firewall to open the HTTP and HTTPS ports used by SUM for external access.
Check this Smart Update Manager 10.8.0 Release Notes and How to Update a Remote Server.
Thank You!
