Is any compatibility require for ILO firmware upgrade with BIOS in proliant servers

Due to security vulnarabity, We are planning to upgrade ILO4 and ILO5 firmware for our servers and blades
We do not have downtime to upgrade BIOS & other components firmware for now.
Is there any compatibilty version need to be maintain between the ILO firmware and BIOS/other compontents versions?
Is it correct way to upgrade ILO firmware alone

Hi GP-TIL,
Is there any compatibilty version need to be maintain between the ILO firmware and BIOS/other compontents versions? Not required.
Is it correct way to upgrade ILO firmware alone? Yes, you can upgrade iLO only. System reboot or downtime is not required, only restarting the iLO console is enough.

iLO versions with their Generation:
Gen10 and Gen10 Plus - iLO 5
Gen8 and Gen9 - iLO 4

Click for the downloading the latest firmware: iLO4 and iLO5.
