KVM adapter for SL2500

Is SL2500 compatible with AF605A, or is there another way to connect to the KVM?

Hi

 

AF605A is a HP BLADESYSTEM C-CLASS KVM INTERFACE ADAPTER and not a recommended option for HP SL2500 Scalable Systems. Recommended KVMs are found in section 'Additional Options > HP Rack Options' in the HP SL2500 Scalable System's QuickSpecs.

I have read quickspecs for this server, but it recommends part 336047-B21 as compatible.

This cannot be right since SL2500 does not have VGA port.

I just checked on the SL2500 system I have in the lab. The c-Class blade dongles are the same connector as the SL2500 nodes.

No support by private messages. Please ask the forum!
