LAN port for server stopped working
Hi,
We have HP Proliand DL 380 G9 installed at one of our location, it has Windows Server 2019 installed on it. Yesterday in the morning when we started the server, we found that lan ports (4) were no longer working, we updated the driver but that did not help, we then used a USB adapter for lan but it keeps disconnecting and is not visible on the devices list. What is the solution for this issue.
Thanks
KRM

Re: LAN port for server stopped working
Hi,
It could be that Embedded 4x1GbE Network Adapter or ports are faulty.
What you can try is:
Perform Diagnostics from Intelligent Provisioning Perform Maintenance window or UEFI Embedded Diagnostics.
Update Embedded 4x1GbE Network Adapter firmware. (This server should have HPE Embedded 1Gb Ethernet 4-port 331i Adapter)
Remove reinstall Network drivers.
Here is the server QuickSpecs.
Thank You!
