LLDP on ILO 5
Hi,
I'm looking for information about enable LLDP on an ILO 5 dedicated port on a HPE Proliant DL360 gen 10 server.
Is LLDP work on ILO 5 ? If yes, how can I enable it?
Kind regards,
Julien

Re: LLDP on ILO 5
Connect iLO to the network through a production network or a dedicated management network.
If you need more information better to post the query on Network community.

Re: LLDP on ILO 5
Hi Ihaqueit, Hi community,
My ilo port is connected on my network (and up) but doesn't answer to LLDP request made by my switch. Do you know if LLDP can be enable on a dedicated Ilo port?
I would like to use Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) to get information about the server connected on each ports of my switch.
thank you for your help
Julien

Re: LLDP on ILO 5
Use iLO Dedicated Network Port—Uses a NIC with a jack on the back of the server. The NIC handles iLO traffic only.
Better you raise a case with HPE support.

Re: LLDP on ILO 5
Hi
Based on HPE Integrated Lights Out (iLO 5) for Gen10 Servers - Configuring iLO Network Settings article., there is
setting available to enable LLDP on ILO NIC.
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-a00026106en_us
However please raise support ticket with HPE technical support team for more information.
